After e-commerce company’s successful first year, Wright sets sights on continued momentum and growth

Most recently, Wright served as a Director of Purchasing for the leading electronic component distributor Smith & Associates. Layla brings years of experience in the electronics industry into her new role. She joined Smith & Associates in 1999, where she served in a wide variety of areas, including training, purchasing and sales management, and collaborative roles with the company’s operations and accounting departments. Layla comes with the proven ability to quickly assess an organization’s growth opportunities in order to design and implement systems to streamline operations and maximize revenue. Before starting at Smith & Associates, Layla worked for Smith International and MI Drilling, specializing in downhole drilling fluids and equipment and gaining valuable expertise in supply chain and inventory management, as well as ERP conversions and proprietary software development for these companies.
In addition to managing the next phase of ServerMonkey’s growth, including increasing product offerings and revenue, Layla will be working to improve data management and oversee an SAP and Magento implementation.
