HOUSTON, TEXAS – (August 17, 2011) – Smith & Associates, a Houston-based leader in the electronics distribution market, and ServerMonkey, a provider of new and refurbished servers and networking equipment, will together host an e-waste recycling day in Sugar Land, TX at the RiverPark on the Brazos Clubhouse (5875 Summit Creek, Sugar Land, TX 77479) on Saturday, August 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Representatives from Smith and ServerMonkey will be on-site to safely and securely recycle used, broken or outdated electronic items at no cost for members of the community who wish to dispose of e-waste in an environmentally-friendly manner.

Items that will be accepted include miscellaneous electronics, laptops, desktops, speakers, monitors, printers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, batteries, cables, cameras, routers and peripherals. Tube televisions cannot be accepted at this time.
