ServerMonkey Donates to Gamers Outreach

ServerMonkey is partnering with Gamers Outreach to sponsor Gamers for Giving as the official equipment provider. The fundraising event will occur March 12 & 13, 2016 at the Eastern Michigan University Convocation Center, which is located just outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Founded in 2007, Gamers Outreach provides recreation to children in hospitals through video games and the gaming community. The organization creates "GO Karts," which are portable, medical-grade video game kiosks to use within hospitals to provide children with bedside activities during long-term treatment.

Gamers for Giving is a non-stop, competitive gaming tournament that generates resources for Gamers Outreach. Funds raised support charity initiatives such as the “GO Karts” for children in hospitals. Their fundraising goal for the 2016 event is $100,000. Gamers for Giving provides a friendly environment for gamers and attendees to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

ServerMonkey CEO, Layla Wright, says “We’re very excited to be the equipment provider for Gamers for Giving 2016 and be able to help out such a great organization.”
