We love getting to know our customers so we thought we would let our customers get to know us a little better too. Next up in our Meet The Monkeys series is our Business Development Coordinator, Rebecca:
Meet Rebecca!
Name: Rebecca
Title: Business Development Coordinator
Describe an average work day for you: An average work day for me consists of wearing many hats, and doing my best to promote ServerMonkey, and help our sales team reach their maximum potential. On an average day, I come in and update our overall net revenue and profit tracking board. Then I jump into working on several data reports that I created to track overall customer engagement using certain platforms so that we can adjust our sales teams routine to best suit the customer. From that point moving forward, I work on things as they come. I wear many hats, so one day I may be processing purchase orders. While on another day, I may be processing sales orders for customer’s. I also work to generate new client and customer engagement with the sales team.
Use two adjectives to describe yourself: The best two adjectives that I can use to describe myself are: spontaneous and artsy.
How long have you been with ServerMonkey? I have been with ServerMonkey since October 3, 2016, so approximately nine months in total.
What brought you to ServerMonkey? I love the environment that ServerMonkey gives employees, as well as, customers. I am also a firm believer in the principles that ServerMonkey stands for, and value that they stand behind their products and services. Prior to working at ServerMonkey, I was a Claims Manager/Director for a furniture repair company. We specialized in furniture repair, custom repairs for antique items, moving claims for relocations companies that transport customer goods throughout the United States during a customers move, and so on.
What is your favorite movie or book and why? My favorite movie would have to be a mix or action and comedy, as those are my two favorite types of movies to watch! My favorite author is John Saul who specializes in horror/science fiction writing. I prefer his books because you are always on the edge of your seat waiting to see what is coming next in his books.
What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I like to be outside! I do carpentry work in my spare time, as well as, draw. I used to sell artwork when I lived in California, however, once I moved to Texas, I have found that it is an amazing hobby that I can do outside. When I am not drawing or doing carpentry work, I like to go fishing, camping, hiking, dancing, or just spend time with my family and my fur-baby!
Favorite thing about working at ServerMonkey? My favorite thing about working at ServerMonkey would have to be the diversity. Working at ServerMonkey, I have met a lot of amazing people who make work seem less like a job and more like a group of people who come together to accomplish their goals.
Thanks for sharing, Rebecca! You can see all of our Meet The Monkeys posts here.
