Watch this video for a step-by-step guide on how to enter the RAID configuration utility and set a basic single RAID array on a Dell server using a PERC 6/I controller. In this video we set up RAID on a Dell R710 but the steps will look the same on any other Dell server with the same controller.

1. Reduce cooling power consumption
   The lower the power consumption, the better. It is important to keep in mind that older equipment uses power inefficiently. Start by determining the actual power consumption of your center to eliminate the overuse of power.
