ServerMonkey will be attending SC15 for the first time this Fall. SC15 will be held at the Austin Convention Center November 16-19. SC15 shines the spotlight on HPC, high performance computing, its impact on our everyday lives, and innovations from around the world.  

This summer, we looked into consumer technology for the home. This month, we’re looking at gadgets to make traveling easier for you. Whether you’re going on a business trip or vacation, you won’t want to pass on these devices. From charging devices to iPhone lenses to hotspots, the Monkeys have you covered.

So you’re wondering what you can use a home server for… Maybe your company has an old server they need to get rid of, or maybe you’re just interested in learning more about servers. The Monkeys have created a list of things you can do!

Three months away from the New Year, with worldwide IT spending set to continue to decrease, that means your IT spending is probably set to continue to decrease, too. No need to worry though, this is not the death of IT spending, rather a purge of unnecessary costs.

ServerMonkey will be attending the Educational Service Center, Region 20 Product Premiere for the first time this year. The 17^th annual show will be hosted in San Antonio on September 16 at the Freeman Coliseum in Exposition Hall B.

We know how frustrating it is to have a slow web browser. Nothing is worse than logging on to buy a concert ticket the minute they’re for sale, only to have your browser fail you and miss your opportunity. The Monkeys are going to teach you two different ways to test your internet speed. Remember to close all applications before running a speed test.

Internet speed is measured in megabits per second (Mbps). It is the data transfer speed as measured in megabits.
