She is currently an Honors student in her senior year pursuing a Corporate Communications degree with a Business Foundations certificate at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation in May 2016, Katherine plans to return to her native city of Houston. She is always up for adventure and enjoys discovering what both Houston and Austin have to offer. A few months back we introduced the topic of 3D printers. Today, we’re introducing a 3D printer for food: the incredible Foodini. Natural Machines, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, has taken it upon themselves to bring the latest to the food industry. Founder Lynette Kucsma says the biggest difference between the Foodini and other 3D printers is the multiple temperatures, consistencies, and textures it can create in food products.

While Google brings us the latest hi-tech inventions we never thought possible, like Google Glass and a driverless car, Amazon provides one of the best online storefronts to customers. Each company considers the opposite one of its biggest competitors but hey, even competitors can work together, right? A customer could start with a Google search for a specific product and end up at Amazon to purchase it.
