She is currently an Honors student in her senior year pursuing a Corporate Communications degree with a Business Foundations certificate at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation in May 2016, Katherine plans to return to her native city of Houston. She is always up for adventure and enjoys discovering what both Houston and Austin have to offer. Google’s updated search algorithm, Pigeon, which was released in the US back in July, has now been released in the UK, Canada, and Australia. CES 2015 is in full swing. Starting January 6 and going through January 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Consumer Electronics Show is a renowned electronics and technology show. The annual show sees visitors and exhibits from around the world showcasing the latest in the technologically innovated world we live in. That new smart watch you’re wanting that can make you fly was first seen at CES- okay, not really, but you get the picture. You can expect anything from 3D printing to wearables to robots and drones and anything in between.

Intel has finally granted our wishes. The new processor from Intel, the Broadwell, has been much anticipated and is finally being released. The Broadwell promises power efficiency and mobility in a thinner and lighter body.

Gone are the days of Internet Explorer. With Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, Microsoft’s browser has been on the back burner for far too long. Code named “Spartan,” Microsoft is rumored to be releasing a new browser as part of their Windows 10 release.
